We believe home is where real life happens—kids playing, pets running around, family and friends gathering together. But all that living also brings everyday messes.

That’s why we design rugs that balance beauty and practicality, so they can truly be part of daily life, not a source of stress. We call this approach No-Rush Care: a more practical way to care for rugs, with wipe-clean convenience for many daily messes and deep cleaning when needed

A Mother's Desire and Courage

Our Origin Story

It all started in 2020 with a rug accident. As a mom and two dogs owner, our founder was no stranger to messes—washing the rug every two weeks had become routine. Even so-called “washable rugs” were bulky, hard to fit in the washer, and took forever to dry. She realized the problem wasn’t whether a rug could be washed, but whether it was truly convenient.

With over a decade of experience in the home industry, Juno set out to create GENIMO—wipeable, spill-proof, stain-resistant rugs designed for real homes and real life, so families can spend less time cleaning and more time living.

So our product development team partnered with material science labs to apply an advanced coating that blocks oil and liquid on contact. Stains stay on the surface, never sinking into fibers.

That means you finish your conversation, tend to your kid, answer the door—then wipe it clean in seconds. No scrambling for the washing machine. No permanent damage. And when you do want a deeper clean? Yes, it's machine washable too. But with GENIMO, the clock is always on your side.

Behind GENIMO is a team of parents, pet owners, and busy professionals—all of whom have been frustrated by the same chores. We know the feeling of "I just want to collapse on the sofa after work," and we believe that the joy kids and pets bring far outweighs a little mess.

That's why we've turned our office into a "real-home lab." Every piece of feedback comes from our own team's daily use. From material selection to cleaning tests, every step is validated by real life.
