Blue Rugs

Our blue rugs run from deep navy to soft light blue. Most are machine-washable indoor prints with a non-slip backing, from Persian medallions and florals to fish, waves and checkerboards, in 2x3 to 10x14 plus runners. About a dozen outdoor rugs for patios and porches and four Wash Free rugs are mixed in.

Navy to Light Blue

Navy is the deepest and most forgiving shade here, used on Persian medallions, florals with pink, yellow or teal accents, and vintage horse and fish designs. Light blue turns up in wildflower, bow and soft abstract prints that keep a bedroom or nursery bright.

Blue paired with beige or ivory, like the medallion, daisy and polka-dot styles, sits between the two and works on both warm wood and gray floors.

Coastal and Ocean Prints

Fish, waves, starfish and sea creatures appear on seven indoor designs, some drawn as Persian-style patterns and some as playful kids' prints. They suit lake and beach houses, entryways that see sandy feet, and kids' rooms.

Indoor and Outdoor Blue Rugs

Blue and white outdoor rugs here are mostly the reversible kind, which you sweep or hose off; they don't go in the washer. The Coralla, Chloris and Veina patio rugs are the machine-washable ones.

Blue Rug FAQs

What is the best blue rug?

It depends on the room: navy suits busy living rooms and entryways because it hides dirt, while light blue suits bedrooms and nurseries. If you have pets or kids, a washable build matters more than the exact shade.

What colors go with a light blue rug?

Cream, white and warm wood keep light blue airy, while navy, coral or soft yellow add contrast. Several blue florals here already include pink, yellow or teal, so you can pull an accent straight from the rug.

What style of furniture suits a blue and white rug?

Blue and white works with coastal, farmhouse and traditional furniture in white, natural wood or rattan. For a modern room, a blue checkerboard or plaid usually fits better than a floral.
