Vintage Persian Rugs

Our vintage Persian rugs borrow the faded medallions, tribal borders and soft florals of old Persian rugs. They are printed on a machine washable low pile in muted reddish brown, terracotta, sage, taupe, ivory and washed blue. Sizes run 2x3 to 10x14, plus 2x6 and 2x10 runners.

Muted Colors for Modern Rooms

A faded Persian pattern looks softer than a crisp traditional rug, so it sits comfortably next to a modern sofa, plain linen or light wood.

Dining Rooms and Bedrooms

Under a dining table, a 6x9 or 8x10 low pile lets chairs slide out without catching, and the rug can go in the washer after a dinner spill.

In a bedroom, warm reddish browns and terracotta feel cozy, while taupe and ivory keep a small room light.

Vintage Persian Rug FAQs

What color wall goes best with a Persian rug?

Warm whites, greige and soft clay let a faded Persian pattern stand out, while deep green or navy walls pick up the darker border colors. Painting the wall the same red or rust as the rug tends to flatten both.

Are Persian rugs still in style?

Yes. Persian patterns have never really gone away, and today the faded, low-contrast versions show up next to farmhouse, transitional and mid-century furniture alike.

Are vintage Persian rugs valuable?

Old hand-knotted Persians can hold their value, depending on age, origin, condition and size, and an appraiser can tell you what one is worth. These are new printed rugs chosen for the look and easy washing, not as collectibles.
